I created this site to honor and glorify God, to testify to His faithfulness to me and my family throughout our lives ~ in both our times of struggle and our times of victory. Everyone has a story to tell. As readers here, you have spent time learning about our story ~ our challenges with addiction, with relationships, with submitting to the leadership of Christ in our lives...

I wanted to create a place on my site where you could share a bit about yourself ~ give a testimony to how God has been faithful to you... share an area of personal struggle for prayer...  ask advice from me or other readers regarding a challenge you are facing in your life. I am not an "expert." In fact, as you have seen, that is part of my testimony. But I can listen; I can pray; and I can share the comfort that God Himself has given me in the midst of my own struggles and pain.

If this site has been of comfort to you, please share. If it has raised questions in your mind, please ask them. If you want to share your own story, please feel free. This page is for you.

Hello, I stumbled upon your ministry blog via Blogger and through that found this site. I found your journey as a writer to be very encouraging as I am on a very similar journey towards fulfilling what God has put on my heart about writing my family's story of dealing with bipolar illness. I think this is the year that God will finally help me fashion our tale into a book. At least, I hope! His timing is perfect! You have a great heart for the Lord...it shines through your site, and I look forward to learning more about you and read your book someday! I love the memoir format, and I like what you said about using your given name but pseudonyms for family...that gives me some ideas! Blessings to you!!!!!

Hello Cheryl, I hadn't known of your book before now and it already has great meaning for me. We share familiar stories about our children. Like you, I feel God wants me to tell our story. Starting at 72 years of age, I'm attempting to become a writer to help others know that God can shine the light through impossible situations and renew lives. To God be the glory. I've enjoyed touring your blog and am looking forward to learning more about you and your lovely family. Sharing Christ's Love, Barb Shelton Arlington, TX
